How it generates

Generates on land in suitable jungle terrain, sometimes with its lower floor buried. Java won't place one over water.

Bamboo Jungle appears to be Java-only; Bedrock lists just Jungle, and neither edition uses Sparse Jungle. The mobs listed are normal spawns in the dark, and there's no spawner. The update that added jungle pyramids has no known official name.
