Abandoned Camp
Deserted campsites with wool tents, supplies, and details that match the biome. Players search them for explorer maps to other camps and major structures, and for valuables hidden in oxidized copper chests.

How it generates
Camps sit on the surface and fit their pieces to the terrain. Each biome picks its own tents and campsite pieces, and some pieces are shared by every variant.

- Cherry Grove
- Dappled Forest
- Flower Forest
- Forest
- Meadow
- Old Growth Birch Forest
- Old Growth Pine Taiga
- Old Growth Spruce Taiga
- Pale Garden

- Taiga
- Windswept Forest
- Wooded Badlands
In Java 26.3 all 18 biome versions share one placement grid with a linear spread. They don't get 18 separate grids. Spacing was 34 chunks during the snapshots and is now 37. A candidate in the wrong biome is skipped, so there isn't a camp every 592 blocks. Java camps have no special mob spawning. Bedrock released the same 18 biome versions in 26.50; the placement values shown are Java's.
