Taiga village climbing a snowy mountain above spruce forest
Dark village roofs spread from spruce forest onto a steep snow-covered mountain, with paths and buildings at sharply different heights.

About this world
This taiga village at 0, 139, 0 climbs the side of a snow-covered mountain. Dark wooden roofs sit between spruce trees below, while other buildings and paths reach onto the steep white slope. The north view looks along the mountain face and makes the spread of the houses clearer than a view directly into the rock.
The village's generated structures span y 91–209, so its houses occupy much more than one level of the mountainside. The overhead image follows the boundary between snow-covered ground and dense spruce forest; the west view shows roofs scattered among the trees below the white slope. Together, the views show how the settlement climbs from the forest onto the mountain.

How to get there
- In Java Edition 1.20.1, choose Create New World, open the World tab and enter seed 260195924.
- Set Game Mode to Creative or turn Allow Cheats on, and press F3 to show your coordinates.
- Run /tp @s 0 245 0 to arrive above the highest generated village structures. Starting near y 139 can put a view against the mountain face.
- Fly north or west of the village and look back along the snowy slope to pick out roofs between the spruce trees.
- Descend in Creative as you follow the houses up the mountain. The gallery is an aerial survey, not a checked footpath between every building.
Questions
Where is the mountainside village?
Its checked point is 0, 139, 0 in Java 1.20.1. Houses extend from the spruce forest below onto the steep snowy mountain.
Why is the village spread over different heights?
It follows the mountain face rather than a flat plain. Generated village structures range from y 91 to 209, and the overhead photograph shows the split between forest and snow.
Which direction gives the clearest view?
The north and west views look along the slope and show the roofs. The east view was blocked by the mountain, so it is not included in the gallery.
Which Minecraft version was checked?
The world and screenshots were checked in Java 1.20.1. We have not verified the same terrain and structures in Bedrock or other Java versions.
